Elsto Atif-Khariz Wins the CC

May 9, 2010 - The day after he turns 9 months old, Elsto Atif-Khariz wins his first CC at an international show in Kristiansand, Norway. Ably handled by Anna Storesund, Atif was shown in a strong saluki entry to judge Diogo Ramalho of Portugal. What a great beginning to his show career.

April 28, 2010 - Mrs. Beverly Jean Nelson awards Lucy first Award of Merit at the Poodle Club of America 2010 National Specialty. What a way to finish off her American tour! Lucy was Winners Bitch at every show but one while she was here in the States. She has also racked up a Best of Breed Specialty win along with other Bests of Breed. It's been a great visit. Thanks to Tim Brazier for his excellent care and handling of Lucy while she was visiting. Photo to come.
Lucy returns home to Norway as American, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Nordisk champion and Norwegian Winner 2010. She is a multiple specialty winner having been awarded Best of Breed at 4 specialties.

April 17 & 18th, 2010: "Amanda" - Elsto Khariz Amazing Amanda is Best of Breed and CACIB winner and her litter brother, "Odin" - Elsto Khariz Odin is the CAC winner. Odin needs one more CAC to become a champion. The judge was Espen Engh.

American Champion Lucie!!


April 11, 2010 - Timberland Valley KC: Lucie finishes her American Championship with another Best of Breed. This time under judge Mrs. Kristi Trivilino. Thanks to Tim Brazier who ably handled Lucie to all her wins.
She has amassed an incredible record in the short time she has been in the U.S. She was entered in 9 shows, was Winners Bitch 8 of the 9 times; Best of Breed 4 times and Best In Show at the Puget Sound Poodle Specialty.
Thank you to all who have recognized her quality. Lucie's next and final appearance in the U.S. before returning home to Norway will be at the Poodle National the end of this month. Åge Gjetnes, Lucie's co-owner; Eva Nygaard Sørensen, Lucie's breeder; and I plan on being there. We hope you'll stop to say hello.

Friday, 3/26 and Sunday 3/28 - In only her second weekend out, Lucie continues to dazzle by winning a Specialty 4 point major winning Best In Specialty at the Puget Sound Poodle Club under judge, Mr. Clay Williams and a 3 point major at the Peninsula Dog Fanciers Club on Sunday under judge, Dr. Wanda V. Spediacci. More details and photos to follow. Go Lucie!! In just two weekends she has accumulated 11 points with both majors. What a girl!!

Lucie Makes Her Debut in the US


Lucie makes her first appearances in the United States and wins at both her first outings. On Saturday, March 13, 2010, she was Winners Bitch under judge Darryl Vice. On Sunday, March 14, 2010, she was Winners Bitch and Best of Breed under judge Timothy Doktater. We are so excited at the reception Lucie has gotten from judge, handlers and other poodle fanciers. Two 2009 Number ONE Breed Winners


November 28, 2009 - Lucie tops the Breed at the Norwegian Winner Show in Lillistrøm, Norway with Best of Breed Miniature Poodle, Norwegian Winner 2009 under judge Jacqueline Quiros Kubat handled by her co-owner, Åge Gjetnes. Lucie finishes the year as Number One Miniature Poodle in Norway.

November 29, 2009 - Amanda also finishes the year as Norwegian Winner 2009 with Best of Opposite Sex and completes 2009 as Top Afghan Hound for second year in a row. Congratulations to her owners, Tove and Kjell Kristiansen.

Yaffa is back in the ring after recently having a litter and we would like to share the critique Judge Tuula Plathan gave her at the year´s last show in Norway.
¨A lovely bitch of beautiful balance. Excellent size for a bitch. Lovely head with good expression dark eyes. Correct shape of scull and good ear placement. A graceful neck. Very good front for the breed. Good long rib cage. Well constructed behind. Lovely parallel movement. This is a beautiful bitch who needs to grow tail feathering.¨

Double Header for Elsto!


November 7, 2009 - Lucie travels to Norway to add yet another title. New Danish champion under the world renowned poodle specialist and judge, Mr. Frank Sabella. Thanks to Mr. Sabella and Eva Nygaard Sørensen, Lucie's breeder, for handling her to this newest title.
And in the saluki ring, Yaffa returns after many months of absence due to having her litter and also becomes a new Danish Champion. Thanks to Elisabeth Leven for handling Yaffa to this win.

Group One for Lucie

October 4, 2009 - Hamar, Norway. Lucie wins the CACIB and Best of Breed at the NKK International show in Hamar, Norway. She doesn't stop there but goes on to win the Group in very strong competition. Go, Lucy! The Judge for Breed and Group was Kenneth Edh of Sweden. Thank you!
